St John the Baptist church is not easy to find, as it lies just next to Offas Dyke. It is sign posted  once you get to the old village school in Mainstone. It serves a very close-knit and caring community of farming families and those who are attracted to the peace and quiet of living off the beaten track in order to pursue more artistic pursuits.

We value enormously the monthly Meditations which are held in our church on the first Monday evening of the Month at 7pm.

During the winter months we sometimes have to cancel services because the roads become impassable due to bad weather.
